5 years!

Wow, December 31st, 2010 was our 5th anniversary! We had such a great day together sleeping in, long walk with the doggies, and out to a great dinner at Bonefish(thanks Mom and Pop!)...we reminisced about our wedding and about all that we've experienced together in the past 5 years...we're so blessed to have each other and are so excited(and a bit nervous) about our little girl coming in 4 weeks:) Thank you, Jesus, for bringing us through ups and downs and growing us stronger each year we're together. You are our center and it is by You that we are made complete...
Christian surprised me, I mean REALLY SURPRISED me, with these beautiful amethyst earrings...how lucky am I! We usually don't buy each other anniversary gifts and are completely satisfied with just hanging out together for the night, but then I got these this year! How cool...I've never had REAL earrings before:) He did so good picking these out...what a sweetheart!

Scrapbooking trip!

Oh what a fun time scrapbooking!! A few girls from church drove to Atlanta to scrap at Archivers aka scrapbooking heaven:) We spent the night at a hotel, ate a yummy dinner at Mimi's Cafe, got a awesome suprise from Lindsey coming from Seattle, and scrapbooked for 13 hours!! Ahh...here are some pages I did at Archivers(for those who don't know, Archivers is a retail store but you can also bring your stuff and scrap there...and you have everything you need there...just start a tab! )

And just a random belly pic while we were there...23 1/2 weeks:)
Lindsey came all the way from Seattle(she used to live here in Augusta...she's the awesome photographer who does our little "photoshoots". What a great surprise!
Sweet friends..Wendie, Jen, Lindsey, and Sarah

Hilton Head May 2010

Just a few pics from a great, relaxing vacation at one of our fav locations...just us and the doggies...A little beach time, lots of walks, bike crusing, eating, and celebrating...Christian in his tent with cooler and book ready for some much needed relaxation:)
One of our fav places to eat...The Shack!

We rode bikes to South Beach for a yummy breakfast

Early birthday celebration at one of our fav places, Sage Room

Best birthday present was being with my honey:) No school, no work..just us!

I heart Carrie Underwood!

So for some reason everytime I tried to load these my computer kept acting up...so here are some late concert pics...Such a fun night meeting Carrie and with my honey! Great concert...Carrie sounds even better in person! Even Christian(who doesn't like country music) had a great time too! Look how tiny she is...
Sons of Silvia...one of the opening acts...three brothers...very talented musicians
Criag Morgan...very FUN music...Christian liked him too!

Carrie coming out of the stage to open the concret

Wow, didn't know she plays the guitar and plays the piano!

So cool...she was riding above the audience in this truck:)

Song with Sons of Silvia
Singing "How Great Thou Art"..WOW, gave me serious goosebumps
Her dress lit up

Oregon Trip

Overall we did a really poor job of bringing our camera each day. We had a great time and did so much more than these following photos show. Hopefully we will do better next time.
Just getting started on our wine tour.
Wine tasting was really fun. And as you will see the wineries were beautiful.

This place was really pretty. Looked like somewhere you would have a wedding reception.

This is what property should look like. Mountains, pastures and grapes, the applegate valley was really nice.

Hiking on the trails outside of Jacksonville. We also hiked another day but we forgot the camera, oops.

Baylee did her best to keep up with the group. She was always so excited to go hiking.

Mt. McLoughlin in the backround. What a great view!
